...AND IN AN IRONIC AND ALMOST COMEDIC TURN OF EVENTS...

I just bought this truck. It has everything a guy could want in an old truck. It has power steering, power disc brakes, a built 350ci engine, a 700r4 overdrive automatic transmission, and a tilt steering wheel. It's even tubbed, so there is literally no limit to the size tires I can stuff under it. There is one thing that it doesn't have, though... It doesn't have turn signals.

That's rich.

Nice truck, though -- for a Chevy, that is.

Well, then you'd fit right in here where I live, because it seems that my town is a "signal free" zone.

I wouldn't mind a truck. I'm kind of tired of driving around in a mini-van; makes me feel frumpy.

David,
Thanks. How is your old Ford truck comin' along?

Kim,
You ain't frumpy...even in a mini-van.

Turns signals are only required if you have to turn. Just drive it in straight lines for now.

Deuteronomy 5:32.

Garry, my project has been slowed down and scaled back a bit. I've got one of my boys working on the brakes right now.

David,
I am tempted to say that brakes should be your least concern with a Ford, but I won't say it.

Daniel,
I can do hand signals. However, my hand signals differ significantly from those commonly used by the friendly Titusville motorists.

Garry, as a cyclist, I like to make up my own hand signals as I go. I feel the world is ready for such as this because, let's face it, we live in a subjective, post modern society. People should instinctively know that the interpretive dance my arm is doing means I am about to turn or something.

By the way, I noticed you changed the pic.

Oh and I can't get to my facebook account for a while, so it may be a bit before I open the door over there. lol.

Garry, I appreciate your self-restraint. It shows maturity.

My word verification is frogive. Is that the opposite of forgive, like froward is the opposite of toward?

David, nope, it has to do with seventies hair styles.

Daniel,
I will tollerate no tossing around of the "H" word on this blog.

Don't worry about a lack of signals. Most people I observe don't use them anyway.

What a great litle pick-up bro. Garry! Superb. I believe I could just do hand signals & get alone real fine in that little dandy!
