NO RESPECT!!!

Have you ever noticed that if you are known to embrace the doctrines of grace, that you get no credit for evangelism from those who do not accept your views? It's true! No matter how much you preach about our responsibility to "...preach the gospel to every creature..." No matter how faithfully you personally "... do the work of an evangelist..." No matter how many years you spend on the foreign mission field... People who embrace a more arminian soteriology (Even those who never bring a single person to Church), will look you straight in the face and tell you that the doctrines you believe will hurt evangelism. I'm not Rodney Dangerfield, but I get no respect, I'm tellin' ya! No respect!

Hey Garry, I finally figured it out so I can comment on your wise blogging.
Hey I respect you and hear your pain. Aren't there many times that you preach and wonder if anybody got it?! We all feel disrespected and rejected at times but just know, as if it is a comfort, I respect you!

Thanks, Bro. Jerry. You are a real friend. BTW, you are up way too early.

I have to be up early because no body "respects" my time. If you are up late, tonite at our church we are having the German Pianist, along with a group from Bulgaria. It starts at 7. How is Jan doing? And how is your ticker working. Do You have any books on Romans that you might let me glance at if I sign in blood for them?

Bro.Jerry,
Sorry! I didn't check my 'puter till this morning, so I missed the pianist and buglers(snort). Jan is scheduled for surgery on the 11th. My ticker must be doin' o.k. because I feel like I could run through a troop and jump over a wall. Thanks for asking. As for the books, I only have a couple of things on Romans. I have the complete set of Donald Gray Barnhouse on Romans, 4 volume set by J.M. Boice, and 2 volumes by John MacArthur. I also have single volumes by John Stott, Thomas Robinson and Barnes. All of which are at your disposal, no blood required.

My Dear Reverend Weaver,

You have my deepest respect and highest esteem. I would even wash your Chevy for you if it you can get it here without breaking down.

Your humble servant,
David

P.S. I know what happens to people who ridicule bald preachers.
