TWO WEEKS OF LOOSE LIVING ...WHOOPEEE!

It's 5:30 a.m. and I'm packing for a two week romp. This morning I have a sheriff's department chaplain's meeting at 10:00, then I'm off to Tennessee for a week of fun and frolic with the boys and their families. Then we are off to Louisville, Ky for another week of fun, frolic and fellership at the Together for the Gospel conference. I hope to get to meet, in person, some of my favorite bloggers. In case you don't recognize me, I'll be the old guy humbly creeping along in Steve and Jeremy's shadow.

Mostly Steve's shadow. I've been dieting.

I just love how fondly you speak of your boys and your grandchildren. It's so wonderful.

And I'm jealous that you are going to Louisville....

It was so great meeting you. Thanks for coming up and saying hi. Wasn't it a wonderful conference?

It was even nice meeting your poor, benighted son. Though, when he pointed to a hamburger and tried to tell me it was a cow, that was a bit much....

I was really amazed when Dan responded, "It's actually a patty of meat processed through a grinder, cooked and placed on a split bun with cheese, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, onion, and pickles. Further, the cheese was placed on the burger about a minute before it had finished cooking and they are sometimes sold at restaurants such as Shoney's or McDonald's although on some of their burgers they use a special sauce."

Well... there y'go!

(Except mayonnaise — no mustard!)

Jim,
Whadda ya mean "Time's up" ? Did you get a word of knowlege concerning my life expectancy?

Dan,
The pleasure was all mine. It was a real blessing to meet the whole pyro gang.

Poor old Jeremy may be slightly askew on his understanding of prophecy, but I have every confidence in his discernment concerning hamburgers.

I meant welcome back...or, acutally, I meant "hey, its been more than two weeks already, lets get to it and post again, brother"...

April 7th was one month ago.

How are things?

1½ months ago, now. I fear Brother Garry is deceased.
